MemeGen is an app developed by the popular image storage service Imgur, which lets you easily make your own memes using its complete editor. With a few simple steps you can both create and publish them to your account.

By clicking on the 'Create' tab, you can choose the background from an image taken with your device's camera, a photo you've uploaded to your gallery, or one of the many photos used in popular memes – 10 Guy, Ancient Aliens, Forever Alone, or Success Kids, among many others – over which you can superimpose your own text.

The most interesting thing about the app is its speed and versatility in posting your memes online, which you can do with just a click using your Imgur account. You can also save the memes locally to a gallery folder created for that purpose.

In addition to the editing and publication tools, you can view other users' memes sorted by popularity or date of upload.
